Dean Glenn led the Cowboys in scoring in both seasons he was with the team (1966-67, 1967-68) and helped guide the Cowboys to a 20-5 record his senior season after averaging 15.4 points per game. That year McNeese won the Gulf States Conference championship, was ranked as high as No. 5 in the Division II polls, and played in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
He earned all-Gulf States Conference honors and was named the team's MVP in 1967. His 17.1 career scoring average continues to rank high on the all-time McNeese chart, currently at No. 10.
