McNeese State University Athletics

He’s the only offensive lineman to have earned two team MVP awards (1968 and 1969) in the history of McNeese State football. A four year letterman, he was named to the Associated Press’ all-American team in 1969 and was twice named to the all-Gulf States Conference squad. He helped the Cowboys to a GSC title in 1967 and was also named a permanent team captain during his career. After graduation he became a successful businessman in both Louisiana and Mississippi.
