McNeese State University Athletics

During a four year career with the Cowgirls, she set just about every team record. She still holds the school career records for points scored (2,461) and rebounds (1,571). She’s also ranked second in the state of Louisiana in career rebounds and is seventh in points scored. Jean was a four-time all-Louisiana selection and an all-Southland Conference pick for the only year that she played in the conference. In 1983 she also led the conference in rebound­ing with a 13.7 mark. She continues to hold 15 McNeese State records.
