McNeese State University Athletics

He was a key member of four straight Gulf States Conference tennis championship teams. He played the No. 2 singles for the Cowboys and won individual league titles all four years from 1958 to 1961. He was also a member of the No. 1 doubles team in the league for those four seasons that also won four straight titles. In 1958 he helped lead the Cowboys to a 22 match win season. Following graduation from McNeese, he returned to his native Mexico where he is a successful businessman.
