LAKE CHARLES—McNeese's scheduled home softball game against Louisiana Tech on Tuesday, April 29 has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict. 
 
The 2025 Southland Conference regular season champs will host one of two Southland Conference Bracket Play pods May 1-4.  The Cowgirls will host No. 8 seed East Texas A&M at 3 p.m. Thursday.  No 4 seed UIW will play No. 5 seed Lamar at 6 p.m. Thursday.  All tournament games will stream on ESPN+.
 
Tournament tickets will go on Tuesday, April 29 at 9 a.m. and can be purchased online by going to mcneesesports.com, in person at the Jack Doland Fieldhouse, by calling (337-562-4678) or at the softball ticket booth (game day ONLY).
