Today (Thursday) is the final day for participants to register for Saturday's Petrochem Athletic Association Cowboy Gallop 10k.

The fun run is open to all ages and genders and carries a $35 entry fee. Registration will take place from 6:15 a.m.-7:30 a.m. and runners will receive a long sleeve dri-fit t-shirt while supplies last. Awards will be given for first overall male and female and first master male and female. Award will also be given for the top three in each age group: U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-plus.

The race will begin in front of the Jack Doland Field House and proceed east on McNeese Street to Fifth Avenue. There it will go north on Fifth Avenue to College Street where it will make a U-turn to head back south on Fifth Avenue and back to McNeese Street.  The finish line will be set up on the 50-yard line in Cowboy Stadium.
