LAKE CHARLES – Season ticket sales for the 2015 McNeese State football season are now underway with both renewals and new season ticket holders. This year's slate includes a trip to LSU in the season opener on Sept. 5 and the only way to guarantee up to four tickets to that game is to purchase a season ticket.
Renewals will run until a June 2 deadline at which those seats not renewed will go on sale.
McNeese has eliminated the Traditions Fund Donation that fans were paying for their season tickets in the past years. Pricing for tickets is based on seat location.
The Cowboys will play five home games in Cowboy Stadium this coming season with marquee Southland Conference matchups against two-time defending league champion Southeastern Louisiana (Oct. 10), in-state rival Northwestern State (Oct. 24), and 2014 FCS semifinalist Sam Houston State (Nov. 7).
McNeese will open its home season on Sept. 12 in a league game against Incarnate Word and will play Division II member Mississippi College (Sept. 26) out of the Gulf South Conference.
Tickets prices are: $100 (sections A, H, I, P); $105 (sections B, G, J, O); $115 (sections C, F, K, N); $125 (sections D, E, L, M); and $75 for general admission. Also available is a Friends and Family 4-Pack which will be located in sections A, I and P and includes four tickets for $300.
McNeese will be allotted a set amount of tickets for the LSU game. Season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase up to four LSU game tickets per season ticket account until June 2.
After that date, any tickets for the LSU game will go into a lottery pool for season ticket holders who want to purchase more than four tickets and who purchased season tickets after June 2. The last day to enter into the lottery will be July 31.
Any LSU game tickets not sold following the lottery will be available to the general public on a first come, first serve basis.
