    Fionnuala Ross has been named the Southland Conference women's cross country athlete of the week after placing second in the university's Cowboy Stampede last Saturday.
    A junior from Agbagallon, Northern Ireland, Ross was the top collegiate runner in the 5K race with a time of 17:03.
    She led the Cowgirls to a second place team finish in the meet.
