Desmund Lighten has been named a national defensive lineman and performer of the week by College Football Performance.com.  He was credited with 12 tackles in last week's game with Texas State and among those stops were four tackles for a loss and a quarterback sack.  In his four year career with the Cowboys the senior from Monroe has now been credited with 20 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks and 206 tackles.
