McNeese State defensive end Chris Loveless was named the Southland Conference defense player of the week by College Football Performance.  He was singled out for his effort against Nicholls State when he collected 11 tackles (2 TFL, 1 SACK), had three quarterback hurries and recovered a fumble which led to a McNeese score.  He is a sophomore from Houston, TX.
