Caitlyn was named this week's Southland Conference Player of the week after leading the Cowgirls to a 3-0 record with win over UL-Lafayette, Texas-Pan American and Houston.

Baggett scored in double figures in all three games including a season high 19 against Houston.  Baggett shot 52.9 percent from the field and 52.6 percent from three-point land.  Baggett was 10 of 19 from behind the arc for the week.  She also averaged 4.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals.
     She is the first McNeese player to garner the weekly honor this season.
