The McNeese women’s tennis team plays all its home matches at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.  The complex consists of eight all-weather courts, which were resurfaced in the summer of 2012, and are located just north of the Student Recreation Center on the main campus. The complex is run in conjunction with the Student Recreation Center at McNeese.  Four of the courts are lighted for play at night.  Prior to the 2012 season, canopies were installed over bleachers that are between both sets of courts.

The complex was renamed the Nancy Hank Tennis center on June 14, 2010 in memory of the late Nancy Hank who was an avid tennis player and fan who took up the game in the early 1970’s.  She was born in Galesville, WI and attended college at the University of Dubuque in Iowa.  She was married to Harry Hank for 35 years and spent most of her adult life in Lake Charles.

The center is a great venue that is used for a variety of local, regional, and state-wide tournaments and clinics.  The tennis complex and McNeese hosted the 2004 Southland Conference tennis tournament, in which the Cowgirls advanced to the championship match for the first time in school history.

In 2007, the Cowgirls hosted Lamar in the highest attended match in school history.

The center is open to the public at night.
