LAKE CHARLES-- The McNeese volleyball team will step out of Southland Conference action Tuesday when the Cowgirls travel to Alcorn Tuesday night for a 6:30 p.m. match.

McNeese (11-12) will look to pick up its second win over the Braves after a straight set victory over Alcorn during the Cowgirl Classic on Sept. 13.
The Cowgirls enter the match after a Southland Conference win over Nicholls last Saturday. The win was the second SLC victory of the season and first straight set SLC win of the season for the Cowgirls.

Amber Fryer leads McNeese with 233 kills per set but senior
Rachel Cagnina who returned to the court Saturday after an injury sidelined her for a week, leads the team with 2.97 kills per set. Both Fryer and Cagnina lead the team with 49 blocks apiece. Junior setter
Kelly Graham is dishing out 9.34 assists and has 822 to her credit. Libero
Malina Sanchez continues to lead the team and the Southland Conference with 47 service aces. She also has a team high 285 digs and is averaging 3.56 per set.
Alcorn is led by Heather Jackson who has 127 kills on the season while Erica Caddell leads the Braves with 30 blocks.
