Box Score CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS--McNeese volleyball got off to a slow start and never recovered as the Cowgirls dropped a straight set Southland Conference match to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (25-12, 25-19, 25-20).
McNeese falls to 12-14 overall and 2-8 in league play with the loss while TAMU-CC improves to 14-13 overall and 7-3 in the SLC.

Rachel Cagnina was the only Cowgirl to collect double figure kills with 12. Cagnina also led the Cowgirls with a .387 hitting percent. She didn't commit an error in the match on 31 attempts.Â
Malina Sanchez tied for a match high 22 digs. The 22 digs is Sanchez's third best of the season. She has now recorded double figure digs in 20 of 23 matches she has played in this season.
Kelly Graham led McNeese with 21 assists. She has dished out 10 or more assists in all 26 matches.
The Islanders had two players with double figure kills with Brianna Brink leading all players with a match high 19. Brink also ended the match with a .474 hitting percent.
McNeese will conclude its home schedule Thursday and Saturday when the Cowgirls host New Orleans in a 7 p.m. match Thursday and a 2 p.m. match against Southeastern La. on Saturday.
