LAKE CHARLES-- The McNeese volleyball team will play three Southland Conference matches in six days this week beginning with Tuesday's match at Southeastern La.
McNeese (10-9, 1-3 SLC) will look to move up in the SLC standings with three conference matches slated for this week. The Cowgirls will travel to Hammond Tuesday for a 7 p.m. match at Southeastern La. (5-11, 2-2 SLC) and will conclude its road trip with a 7 p.m. match in Conway, Arkansas on Thursday against league leading Central Arkansas (10-7, 5-0 SLC). Central Arkansas is one of two teams with unblemished league records. Stephen F. Austin is also undefeated in the SLC with a 4-0 record. The Cowgirls will close out the week with a rare 3 p.m. home match Sunday against Incarnate Word (5-12, 1-3 SLC). Sunday's match has been designated as the Cowgirls' dig pink match and fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for breast cancer. All donations will be made to the Ethel Precht Foundation.
McNeese continues to lead the league in service ace with 125 and rank in the top 5 in four statistical categories (service aces, hitting percent, opponent hitting percent, and blocks).

Malina Sanchez continues to lead the conference with 39 service aces while senior
Rachel Cagnina leads the team and ranks fourth in the SLC with 212 kills. Junior setter
Kelly Graham ranks fifth in the league with 693 assists for an average of 9.49 per set.
The Lions have won three of their last five matches and are coming off a 3-1 home loss to UCA on Saturday.
Parrie Hartley leads the lions with 135 kills (2.45 per set), 10 service aces, and has a .170 attack percent.
