LAKE CHARLES – McNeese returns to Burton Coliseum on Wednesday when it hosts Southern-New Orleans just days after putting up a hard-fought game at LSU.
Tip-off will follow a Cowgirls' 6 p.m. game against Wiley College. Fans are asked to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots in exchange for one free general admission ticket for up to a group of four to the doubleheader. A donation of $5 to Toys for Tots will also receive a game ticket.
The Cowboys (2-2) are a perfect 2-0 at home this season and will play five of their next six in Burton Coliseum with their next outing on Saturday night against longtime rival Louisiana-Lafayette.
McNeese may see a small change in the starting five for Wednesday as junior forward

Lewis tops the Southland Conference and is ranked No. 2 in the country with 5.3 blocked shots per game. If he doesn't play, head coach
Dave Simmons said junior center Matt Moss will get his first career start.
The other four positions will be the same as the first four games with
Jamaya Burr,
Keelan Garrett,
Kevin Hardy and
Desharick Guidry.
Guidry leads the league with 10.5 rebounds and is tied for fifth in scoring with a 17.0 average. He's recorded three straight double-double games and is coming off an LSU game that saw him pull down a career-best 14 rebounds.
Burr (10.3 ppg) is ranked third in the conference with 5.5 assists per game and is eighth with 2.0 steals while Hardy (8.5 ppg, 6.3 rpg) is second in steals (3.3) and ninth in assists (3.3) and with five steals against LSU on Saturday, he moved into a tie for fifth on the school's all-time career steals list with David Green with 167.
SUNO (1-6) is a member of the NAIA Division I ranks and is in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
The Knights are led in scoring by Will Bailey who is averaging 23.3 points per game and is coming off a 32 point outing against Life (Ga.) last Friday.
