LAKE CHARLES-- Fresh off a hard fought 104-101 double overtime win at Incarnate Word Thursday night, the McNeese women's basketball team will travel to Natchitoches Saturday to take on league leading Northwestern State at 1 p.m.

McNeese (10-7, 4-2 SLC) will bring a two game road winning streak into Prather Coliseum where the Lady Demons are 11-7 overall including an 8-1 home record. NW State enters the game with a 6-1 conference record after a 74-71 home win over Nicholls on Wednesday. Their only SLC loss came against Lamar last Saturday.
The game will be a homecoming of sorts for three Cowgirls. Senior

Victoria Rachal are natives of Natchitoches and played at near by Natchitoches-Central High. Freshman
Jasmyn Carswell is a native of Bossier City where she played at Airline High.
The duo of juniors
Allison Baggett and
Jayln Johnson, who are both coming off a 25 point game against Incarnate Word continue to pace the Cowgirls in scoring. Baggett leads the Cowgirls and ranks fourth in the SLC with 17.1 ppg. Johnson is second on the team in scoring with 12.5 ppg. Johnson also tied for second in the SLC with 4.6 assists per game.

Mercedes Rogers are coming off a double-double. Boyd is coming off an 11 point, 15 rebound night and lead the Cowgirls with 6.1 rebounds per contest while averaging 5.6 ppg. Johnson dished out 10 assists along with her 25 points and Rogers scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Northwestern State is led by Janelle Perez and Keisha Lee. Perez leads the Lady Demons in scoring with 13.0 ppg. and is fourth in the league in assists. Lee is second on the team in scoring with 11.7 ppg. while Chelsea Rogers is averaging a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game.
