LAKE CHARLES- The McNeese volleyball team will return to action Tuesday night to host Texas Southern in a non-conference match beginning at 7 p.m. at Memorial Gym.

McNeese (6-13) has won two of its last three matches and are coming off a 3-2 Southland Conference win over Central Arkansas last Thursday.

Senior outside hitter
Malina Sanchez continues to pace the Cowgirls with 204 kills for an average of 2.72 per set. Sanchez also ranks second on the team with 182 digs. Setter
Kelly Graham continues to lead the Cowgirls and ranks sixth in the SLC with 505 for an 8.86 average per set. Junior
Bridget Justis leads the team and ranks fifth in the SLC with 293 digs, averaging 3.86 per set. Freshman
Monica Hudgins has a team high 63 blocks with 60 being block assists.

Texas Southern (4-10) has won three of its last four matches including a sweep over Grambling Saturday. The Tigers are led in kills by Kali Fluke's 142 on the season. Allison Woods leads the defense with 133 digs and Chelsea Thompson has a team best 215 assists.Â

McNeese will return to Southland Conference action this weekend when the Cowgirls travel to Nicholls Saturday for a 12 p.m. match.
