LAKE CHARLES—Winning streaks are made to be broken and Saturday's 12:30 p.m. volleyball match between McNeese and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will end one team's winning streak.
McNeese (10-13, 5-3 SLC) sits in fourth place in the league standings and enter the match on the league's second longest winning streak of five matches. The Cowgirls have won their last four matches in straight sets and are coming off a 3-0 win over Houston Baptist Thursday night. Texas A&M-CC (21-4, 9-0 SLC) is undefeated in league play and are riding the longest winning streak in the SLC at 11 matches. The Islanders defeated Nicholls in straight sets Thursday night.

Kristyn Nicholson leads the league with 10.60 assists per set and Kate Klepetka leads the SLC with 5.96 digs per set. Nicholson also leads Texas A&M-CC with 31 service aces on the season.
