LAKE CHARLES – McNeese men's basketball returns to Burton Coliseum on Wednesday afternoon as the second half of a matinee doubleheader with the Cowgirls beginning at noon.
The Cowboys (0-3) will be looking for their first win of the season when they take on the Dillard Bleu Devils of New Orleans with tip-off 30 minutes following the conclusion of the Cowgirls vs. Rice game.
The Bleu Devils, a member of the NAIA, will carry a 5-2 record into a Tuesday night game at Southern before visiting McNeese.
Of the three losses suffered by the Cowboys, two have come at the hands to Top 25 ranked teams, including an 85-56 loss to No. 8 Oklahoma in the last outing.

Jamaya Burr leads the team in scoring with a 14.7 average while senior forward
Craig McFerrin is tops in rebounding at 10.0 per game in addition to 8.0 points.
As a team, the Cowboys are averaging 65 points and 39 rebounds per game.
The Bleu Devils rank No. 3 in the NAIA Division I ranks with 49.4 rebounds per contest.
Junior forward Dennis Reed ranks second in the NAIA with 13.2 rebounds per game along with a 15.5 points per game mark. Forward Demetric Austin leads the team with an 18.3 scoring average.
Following Wednesday's game, the Cowboys will stay at home for a Saturday afternoon contest against former Southland Conference foe Texas State. Tip-off of that game will be 3 p.m..
