LAKE CHARLES—Coming off a commanding 98-77 Southland Conference win over second place Lamar on Thursday, McNeese women's basketball will showcase itself in a 12:15 p.m. ESPN 3 game against Nicholls on Saturday.

McNeese (16-11, 10-6 SLC) remains in a fourth place tie with Northwestern State after its win over Lamar but are a half game behind the Colonels who enter the game with a 14-12 overall record and a 10-5 conference record after a 68-63 loss at New Orleans Thursday.

The Cowgirls will look to avenge a 70-59 loss to the Colonels in Thibodaux on Feb. 7. McNeese has a 12-2 home record at Burton this season and have won four of its last five games. Nicholls on the other hand has lost its last two, both on the road.

The Colonels (14-12, 10-5 SLC) are led by senior guard Jenny Nash's 13.7 ppg. and 6.0 rpg. Junior Emani White, who has missed 11 games this season with an injury, is averaging 11.2 ppg., coming off the bench.
