LAKE CHARLES--  McNeese volleyball will look to pick up its first win of the season Tuesday when the Cowgirls travel to Oxford, Mississippi to take part in the Ole Miss Tri-Match.
 
McNeese (0-3) will look to bounce back from losses to Arkansas, Kansas, and Army West Point last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational. The Cowgirls will face Ole Miss at 11 a.m. and Tennessee-Martin at 7 p.m. in the one day tournament. The Ole Miss match will be streamed live on the SEC Network+, the network's digital platform. Sophomore Rae Myers was named to the all-tournament team after leading the Cowgirls in kills in all three matches, ending the week with 32 for an average of 3.2 per set. Myers also had a .190 hitting percent for the week. Myers also leads the team with three service aces while Kelly Graham has 67 assists for an average of 6.70 per set. Defensively, junior Bridget Justis has a team high 37 digs and is averaging 3.70 per set. Senior Malina Sanchez is right behind with 31 for an average of 3.10.
 
Ole Miss (3-0) is coming off a weekend where the Rebels captured its own Magnolia Invitational title after defeating Oral Roberts, Tennessee State and Northwestern State.
Nakeyta Clair leads the Rebels with 38 kills, a .567 hitting percent and eight blocks.
 
Tennessee-Martin is coming off a 1-3 showing at the Georgia Tech Midtown Invitational. The Skyhawk's picked up their only win with a 3-1 victory over Citadel with their losses coming against Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech and Siena.
 
Following Tuesday's match, the Cowgirls will be off this weekend and will return to the court Sept. 11-12 when they will take part in the South Alabama Classic.
