Box Score 2 MOBILE, Ala.-- McNeese volleyball wasn't able to rebound from a disappointing five set loss to Samford on Saturday as the Cowgirls dropped both matches Saturday to South Alabama and Houston Baptist at the South Alabama Jaguar Invitational.

Bridget Justis was named to the all-tournament team after leading the Cowgirls in digs in all three matches including a career high 25 against Houston Baptist in the final match of the tournament for the Cowgirls on Saturday. Justic ended the weekend with 59 digs for an average of 4.92 per set.
The Cowgirls opened Saturday with a straight set loss (23-25, 13-25, 21-25) to South Alabama before ending tournament play with a four set loss (21-25, 25-17, 23-25, 19-25)to Southland Conference foe Houston Baptist to fall to 1-7 on the year.

Malina Sanchez led the Cowgirls on the weekend with 31 kills for an average of 2.58 per set while Ebony Lew recorded a .318 hitting percent on 11 kills, four errors and 22 attempts. Setter
Kelly Graham dished out 99 assists in three matches for an average of 8.25 per set.
McNeese will host Prairie View in its home opener Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Gym on campus.
