LAKE CHARLES-- McNeese volleyball will host Prairie View at 7 p.m. Tuesday in its home opener. All home matches will be played in Memorial Gym on campus. The first 100 McNeese students with an ID will receive a Chick-fil-A sandwich. An ice cream social will be held following the match.
McNeese (1-7) will look to snap a three game losing streak after dropping matches to Samford, South Alabama and Houston Baptist last weekend at the South Alabama Jaguar Invitational. The Cowgirls, despite their record have been in every match this season but have struggled to keep leads.

Rae Myers leads the Cowgirls with 76 kills for an average of 2.92 per set. Junior
Hailee Showers is second on the team with 63 kills (2.03 per set). Senior
Kelly Graham has 233 assists to her credit for an average of 7.52. Junior libero
Bridget Justis' 128 digs lead the Cowgirls' defense. Justis is averaging 4.13 digs per set while freshman
Monica Hudgins has a team high 23 blocks.
Prairie View (0-7) enters Tuesday having lost all seven matches in straight sets with its most recent lost coming against Houston Baptist.
The Panthers are led in kills by Marissa Campbell who has 30 on the year. Ana Kiso leads Prairie View with 117 assists and 32 digs.
