LARAMIE, Wyo.—McNeese volleyball dropped both its matches Friday to Wyoming (3-2) and Idaho State (3-0) on at the Wyoming Invite.

"We played our best volleyball of the year today," said head coach Ashleigh Fitzgerald. "We're obviously still a work in progress, but Wyoming has a great team and to push them like we did was a real accomplishment."

Senior Malina Sanchez led the Cowgirls in kills on the day with 15 against Wyoming (9-2) and 13 in the loss to Idaho State (8-6) Kelly Graham also led McNeese in assists in both game with 44 against Wyoming and 25 assists. Graham also led the Cowgirls with nine digs against Idaho State while Bridget Justis had 14 against Wyoming to lead McNeese.

McNeese will face Pepperdine at 11 a.m. Saturday to conclude play in the tournament before returning home to face Jackson State Tuesday.
