LAKE CHARLES—The McNeese volleyball team will look to complete a Southland Conference road sweep Saturday when the Cowgirls travel to preseason favorite Stephen F. Austin for a 1 p.m. match that will be televised on ESPN3. Video and livestats links can be found on mcneesesports.com.
 
McNeese (4-10, 1-0) opened the conference race with a straight set 3-0 win at Northwestern State Thursday night that saw seniors Malina Sanchez, Amber Fryer and Kelly Graham leading the Cowgirls in the victory.
 
Sanchez led McNeese in kills with 10, Graham recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 29 asissts and 14 digs while Fryer was credited with four blocks.
 
Sanchez continues to lead the Cowgirls with 110 kills and is averaging 2.16 per set. Graham has 449 assists on the season for an average of 8.63 per set. Junior libero Bridget Justis is leading McNeese and ranks sixth in the SLC in digs with 198 (3.81 per set) while freshman Monica Hudgins leads the way with 42 blocks.
 
Stephen F. Austin (8-8, 1-0 SLC) are undefeated at home (5-0) after picking up a straight set win over Nicholls on Thursday.
 
The Ladyjacks rank second in the conference in digs and are led by OJ Olson who also ranks second in the league with 5.31 per set.
