LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball will travel to Hammond Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. match, the first of three Southland Conference matches this week for the Cowgirls.
McNeese (7-15, 3-4 SLC) will carry a three match-winning streak into Hammond after defeating Nicholls 3-1 last Saturday. McNeese will return home later this week to host Houston Baptist at 7 p.m. Thursday and Lamar at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Keegan Nelms continues to lead the Cowgirls with 193 kills while junior
Jenny D'Alessandro has 173 to her credit. Junior
Rae Myers, who recorded a career-high 20 kills against Nicholls has 172 on the year, as does freshman
Katelyn Elliott. Nelms also leads the team with 13 service aces and D'Alessandro leads with 44 blocks. Senior libero
Bridget Justis continues the lead the Cowgirls in digs with 377 for an average of 4.38 per set.
Southeastern La. (4-16, 3-4 SLC) is coming off a five set win at third place Northwestern State on Saturday. This will be the first of two matches against Southeastern La. this season. The Lady Lions will come to Lake Charles for a match on Oct. 29.
