LAKE CHARLES--  McNeese volleyball will look to bounce back from a hard fought five set loss to Houston Baptist Thursday night when the Cowgirls host Lamar at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free courtesy of the Lake Charles American Press.

McNeese (7-17, 3-6 SLC) will look to get back into the win column after dropping its last two matches at Southeastern La. on Tuesday and HBU on Thursday. Saturday's match will be the third match for the Cowgirls this week and the second of four consecutive home matches.
 
Freshman Keegan Nelms continues to lead the Cowgirls with 200 kills while junior Jenny D'Alessandro is tops with 63 blocks. Setter Alexandra Aguilera who picked up her 11^th double double of the season against HBU is averaging 9.54 assists per contest. Senior libero Bridget Justis who is coming off a 30-dig night, leads McNeese with 433 digs for an average of 4.56. Four Cowgirls have a team high 14 service aces.
 
Lamar (5-16, 5-4 SLC) has won five of their last eight matches and are currently on a two match winning streak following straight set wins over Abilene Christian and most recently Nicholls.
