LAKE CHARLES-- McNeese volleyball will travel to New Orleans on Tuesday to face the University of New Orleans in a 7 p.m. Southland Conference match.

One team will pick up its first conference win of the season as McNeese enters the match with a 4-15 overall record and 0-4 in the SLC. The Cowgirls are coming off a weekend that saw the Cowgirls drop matches at first place Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State.
New Orleans (3-13, 0-3 SLC) is also looking for its first conference win of the season also. The Privateers have lost their last six matches and are coming off a road match at Abilene Christian. UNO is 0-2 at home this season with its losses coming at the hands of Houston Baptist and Lamar.
The Cowgirls continue to be led in kills by freshmen
Keegan Nelms and
Katelyn Elliott. Nelms has a team high 187 kills and Elliott has 148 to her credit. Junior
Jenny D'Alessandro leads the team with 34 blocks and is third on the team with 143 kills. Junior
Rae Myers has 11 service aces and
Bridget Justis leads with 328 digs while
Alexandra Aguilera has 720 assists on the year for an average of 9.60.
Following Tuesday's match, the Cowgirls will return home to host Abilene Christian on Thursday at 7 p.m.
