LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese women's soccer team will return to the friendly confines of Cowgirl Field after three consecutive matches on the road when they face off against the ULM Warhawks at 1 o'clock.
 
McNeese (3-2) is looking to snap a two-game losing skid after dropping a pair to UAB and UL-Lafayette. The Cowgirls are 1-1 against Sun Belt teams this season after posting a home win against Texas State earlier in the year.
 
Junior Savannah LaRicci continues to be the leading score for McNeese with five tallies on the year. She has scored in three out of the last four games, two of those being multiple goal efforts.
 
ULM (2-4-1) closes out its non-conference slate in Lake Charles Sunday and is looking to snap a two-game losing streak following losses to Central Arkansas and Louisiana Tech.
 
Cke'lana Caeser leads the Warhawks offensively with three goals on the year while two others have scored one goal each. Brooke Scroggins has made three starts in between the posts and has made 34 saves along the way.
 
McNeese and ULM will meet for the 21st time in each school's history on Sunday afternoon. The Cowgirls have posted eight wins while the teams have tied twice in their last 10 meetings. McNeese enjoyed a 2-1 win over the Warhawks last season.
 
ULM assistant coach Megan Snelling makes her return to Cowgirl Field after having played for McNeese from 2010-2013.
