LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball (4-12, 0-1 SLC) will look to bounce back from its Southland Conference opening loss to Northwestern State Thursday by hosting Central Arkansas (7-7, 1-1 SLC) at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gym.

Freshman
Katelyn Elliott led the Cowgirls with 10 kills to extend her matches with double figure kills to five straight matches.
Adison Giambrone continued her solid defensive play by leading the Cowgirls with 15 digs and freshman
Keegan Nelms had 10. Nelms currently leads the team with 157 kills. Setter
Alexandra Aguilera was credited with 29 assists against the Demons and will enter Saturday's match 603 for an average of 9.42 per set. Junior Denny D'Alessandro is tops in blocking with 30 on the season.
UCA is coming off a four set win at Nicholls on Thursday. The Sugar Bears opened the conference season with a 3-1 home win over Incarnate Word on Sept. 1. Haley Tippett and Samantha Anderson have led the Sugar Bear attack with 145 and 141 kills, respectively while Amanda Dimon and Tippett are tops in digs with 173 and 170 apiece. Megan Nash and Anderson lead UCA in blocks with 57 and 50 to their credit.
