LAKE CHARLES—Fresh off its 3-1 road win at UL-Lafayette Tuesday night, McNeese volleyball will travel to Springfield, Missouri this weekend for the Dr. Mary Jo Wynn Invitational hosted by Missouri State that gets underway Thursday.
The Cowgirls (2-6), who have yet to play a home match this season will be playing four more road matches this weekend beginning with a 7 p.m. match against host Missouri State (3-3) Thursday. McNeese will continue action on Friday with a 3 p.m. match against Western Illinois (0-7). The Cowgirls will end tournament play with two matches Saturday against Wisconsin-Green Bay (5-0) at 10 a.m. and IUPUI (2-5) at 2 p.m.

Keegan Nelms is tops on the team with 70 kills and is second with 74 digs. Nelms is coming off a double-double against the Cajuns that saw her record 10 kills and 21 digs. Senior libero

Alexandra Aguilera has dished out 266 assists for an average of 8.58 per set.
