Cowgirls Look To Bounce Back Against ULM

LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball will look to bounce back from a 75-60 set back at the hands of Grambling this past Wednesday when the Cowgirls hosts Louisiana-Monroe at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 at Burton Coliseum.
 
McNeese (2-2) will be playing its third straight home contest in a four game home stand. The final game of the home stand is a 7 p.m. game against Tulane on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
 
Senior Keara Hudnall leads the Cowgirls in scoring with 13.0 ppg. Hudnall has scored in double figures in three of the four games played and is coming off a 21-point game against Grambling.
 
Sophomore Caitlin Davis is also averaging in double figures with 12.0 ppg. and leads the team with 6.8 asp. Davis has scored in double figures in the last two games, including 17 points against Grambling and is averaging 9.0 assists in the last two contest.
 
Freshman Bre'Ashlee Jones and senior Jasmyn Carswell both lead McNeese in rebounds with 7.5 and 7.3 a game, respectively.
 
ULM comes into the game with a 2-1 record with wins over Centenary and most recently a 73-41 win over Milsaps on Tuesday. The Warkawks' loss was 61-52 at Grambling on Nov. 13.
 
Gabriella Cortez leads ULM in scoring with 17.7 ppg. and rebounds with 8.0 rpg.
