LAKE CHARLES - The McNeese men's basketball team is set to roll through Lafayette, Louisiana on Tuesday as they begin a four game road stint starting at the Cajundome against the Ragin' Cajuns. Tip-off on Tuesday (Nov.28) is slated for 7PM.

McNeese will be hosting it's rivals after most recently defeating Southern- New Orleans 103-79. The high-scoring performance was the team's second this season, a feat that has not been achieved since the 2000-2001 season.

Leading 56-34 at halftime, the Cowboys were shooting more than 55% from both the field and beyond the arc. McNeese has already pulled down 28 rebounds, the most in a first half so far this season.

Leading the Cowboys in the victory would be James Harvey, matching a career high five three-pointers and draining 15 total points. Besides Harvey, six other Cowboys hit for double-digits: Demarco Owens, Greenwood, Quatarrius Wilson, Adrian Brown, Stephen Ugochukwu, and Jacob Ledoux.

Louisiana is seeing success on the court as well, returning from a 2-1 showing at the Cayman Island Classic. The Ragin' Cajuns posted two wins against Richmond (82-76) and Iowa (80-71).

Louisiana is currently led by Frank Bartley and Johnathan Stove who each boast 16+ points per game. Bryce Washington, a 6'6 senior from New Orleans leads the squad in 9.7 rebounds per game while JaKeenan Gant provides defensive power with 14 blocks on the year.

Tomorrow's game will be the 93rd between the teams. Louisiana leads the overall series 57-35. Home stand advantage is true for both teams, with the Ragin' Cajuns leading 36-13 in Lafayette and McNeese leadung 22-20 in Lake Charles. Simmons is currently 6-5 against the Ragin' Cajuns, hoping to extend that win streak on Tuesday.

In last year's contest, McNeese fell to Louisiana after a deafening offensive first half by the Ragin' Cajuns put the Cowboys in a 13-point hole headed into the half. The Cowboys hit 24 of 50 from the field for 48 percent and was 12 of 22 in the second half and was 8 of 16 from long range. But McNeese made just 16 of 25 from the free throw line for 64 percent.

In the loss, three Cowboys hit for double-digits, including current sophomore Kalob Ledoux. K.Ledoux now leads the Cowboys with 13.8 points per game, followed closely by teammates Greenwood (12.6) and Wilson (10.6).
