LAKE CHARLES-- McNeese volleyball will begin the second half of the Southland Conference schedule with road matches at Houston Baptist Thursday and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Saturday. Thursday's match is set for 7 p.m. and Saturday's is at 1 p.m. Both matches will be streamed live and live stats will be provided. Links can be found on mcneesesports.com.
McNeese (6-17, 4-4 SLC) begins the second half tied for fifth place with Northwestern State.
The Cowgirls will look to rebound from a 3-1 home loss to Incarnate Word Tuesday night when they head to Houston to face HBU (10-12, 3-5 SLC). The Huskies are currently in eighth place in the standings following their 3-0 loss at Sam Houston State Tuesday. The Islanders (4-17, 3-5 SLC) are also tied for eighth place heading into their match against Lamar on Thursday.

Katelyn Elliott continue to pace the Cowgirls in kills with 195 and 183, respectively.
Paige Havel leads McNeese with 79 blocks and a .278 hitting percent.
Caitlin Sharrock leads the team with 417 assists and 20 service aces while
Angela McGownd continues to lead the defense with 319 digs.
