LAKE CHARLES—Coming off its 3-1 road win at Houston Baptist Thursday night, McNeese volleyball will look to end the week with another victory when the Cowgirls travel to Corpus Christ, Texas to take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1 p.m. Lives streaming and stats will be provided. McNeese (7-17, 5-4 SLC) sits in fifth place heading into the match while TAMU-CC is tied for sixth place with Northwestern State with a 4-5 conference record. The Islanders are 5-17 overall this season.
The Cowgirls will look to end an 11-match losing streak against the Islanders. The last McNeese win over TAMU-CC was on Oct. 23, 2010 in Lake Charles. TAMU-CC defeated McNeese 3-1 last year in the only meeting of the season.
McNeese heads into the match ranked second in the SLC with 96 blocks and fifth with a .213 hitting percent in conference matches.
