LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball heads into its final regular season 11 a.m. match Saturday against Northwestern State (12-13, 8-7 SLC) in a must-win situation if the Cowgirls want to advance to the eight team Southland Conference Tournament next week in Natchitoches. It's also senior day and seniors

Alexandra Aguilera, and
Shanna Spree will be recognized.
McNeese (9-21, 7-8 SLC) enters the match tied for seventh place with both Incarnate Word and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Texas A&M-CC travels to Incarnate Word Saturday for a noon match. If the Cowgirls win, they are in the tournament and the winner of the Texas A&M-CC/Incarnate Word match would clinch a spot as well.
The Cowgirls will look to avenge a straight set loss at Northwestern St. on Oct. 11 where the Cowgirls had their worst match of the season, hitting wise. The Cowgirls ended the match with a .000 hitting percent, dropping the match by the scores of 20-25, 16-25, and 16-25.
McNeese comes into the match having won two of its last three matches including a 3-1 win over Southeastern La. Thursday night.
The Lady Demons will look to close out the regular season with a win as they enter the match on a three-match winning streak after their straight set win at Lamar Thursday.
