LAKE CHARLES—McNeese will bid farewell to its 2018 seniors as well as Burton Coliseum on Saturday, March 3 in its regular season finale. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.
 
Seniors Keara Hudnall, Dede Sheppard, Jasmyn Carswell, Gabby Guidry and Mercedes Rogers will be honored 15 minutes prior to the start of the game. These five seniors are the final senior class to play in Burton Coliseum. McNeese will begin playing its games in its new Health and Human Performance arena next season.
 
McNeese (12-16, 8-9 SLC) claimed a spot in next week's Southland Conference Tournament with its 70-64 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and the Cowgirls will officially found out its tournament seed following the completion of games on Saturday.
 
Caitlin Davis and Sheppard continue to lead the Cowgirls in scoring with 12.1 ppg. and 10.3 ppg., respectively. Rogers heads into the game leading the Cowgirls in rebounds with 7.4 per game. Rogers is coming off her 11
th career double double.
 
Lamar (21-6, 16-1 SLC) enters the game on a school record 13-game winning streak and will be looking to claim the outright title. The Cardinals will also be looking to sweep McNeese during the regular season after an 83-58 win over McNeese in Beaumont, Texas on January 27.
 
The Cardinals have four players averaging in double figures and are led by Moe Kinard's 16.0 ppg. Kiandra Bowers leads Lamar in rebounds with 9.6 per game. Chastadie Barrs leads the conference in assists with 5.6 per game and is averaging 12.4 ppg.
