LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball will step out of conference action and will return home for just the second time this season to host Prairie View on Tuesday. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Gym.

McNeese (1-15) returns home after playing 15 of its first 16 matches on the road. The Cowgirls will look to remain undefeated at home after defeating Southern 3-0 on Sept. 12 in their home opener.
The Cowgirls enter the match led in kills by
Keegan Nelms and
Katelyn Elliott. Nelms has 124 on the year and Elliott has 111.
Angela McGownd tops the team with 54 digs for an average of 4.17.
Caitlin Sharrock, who has dished out 10 or more assists in all but one match this season, has a team best 329 on the year for an average of 6.09 per set.
At the net,
Paige Havel and
Allison Lippert lead the Cowgirls with 52 and 45 blocks, respectively. Both players are coming off a season high's loss at Abilene Christian last Saturday. Havel picked up eight blocks and Lippert was credited with six.
Prairie View will enter the match with a 3-12 record with all its wins coming in SWAC play. The Panthers have picked up wins against Alcorn State, Mississippi Valley and most recently Jackson State on Sunday.
Following Tuesday's match, McNeese will return to its Southland Conference schedule this Saturday at Lamar.
