NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The McNeese Cowgirl soccer squad will be back on the pitch Friday night in a Southland Conference match-up against Stephen F. Austin as it continues to make a push for a conference championship.
Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. The game will steam live on ESPN+, which is available for a free seven-day trial.
The Cowgirls (7-4, 1-1 SLC) will look to extended their win streak to three games after coming off wins against Jackson State and Northwestern State where they outscored those two opponents by a combined mark of 10-0.
McNeese is currently ranked second in the league with 23 goals scored and is third with 62 total points.

Morgan Middleton is tied for fourth in the league with five goals scored on the season while sophomore forward
Havana Johnson is tied for ninth with three goals to her credit.
In the net, sophomore keeper
Emma Roccaforte is tied for the league lead with three shutouts on the season and is ranked third with a 0.95 goals against average.
SFA (3-4-1, 1-1-1 SLC) is coming off a 0-0 (2OT) tie with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in its last outing. The Ladyjacks won their conference opener against Northwestern State by a score of 1-0. SFA returns home after playing its last six games on the road, going 2-3-1 in those games.
The Ladyjacks have dominated the series as of late, having won the last 13 matchups. McNeese's last win over SFA came in the 2007 season.
