LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball will continue its play on the road this Saturday with a 2 p.m. Southland Conference game at New Orleans. Its' the third of four straight road games for the Cowgirls who won't play at home again until Jan. 19.
The game can be heard on the McNeese Radio Network (1470/1290 AM) and cajunradio.com.
McNeese (2-12, 0-3) is one of three teams winless in conference play this season and UNO is one of them (4-8, 0-3 SLC). The other winless team in conference is Central Arkansas (5-8, 0-3 SLC). The Cowgirls will look to bounce back from a 109-52 road loss at Abilene Christian on Wednesday.
McNeese heads into the game averaging 60.0 ppg. and 44.2 rebounds while UNO is averaging 61.3 ppg., and 40.8 rpg.

Callie Maddox and sophomore
Bre'Ashlee Jones lead McNeese in scoring with 13.6 ppg., and 10.3 ppg., respectively.
Maddox (14.0 ppg.), Jones (12.3 ppg.) and
Damilola Balogun (10.7 ppg.) are all averaging in double figures in conference games only.
Freshman
Divine Tanks continues to lead the Cowgirls with 7.8 rpg. while Balogun leads the team with 9.3 rpg. in conference games.
UNO, like the Cowgirls are looking or their first SLC win of the season after losses to Abilene Christian, Houston Baptist, and most recently Lamar on Wednesday.
Shania Woods leads the Privateers in both scoring (13.7 ppg.) and rebounds (8.8) per game. In conference games, she is averaging 12.7 ppg., and 9.3 rpg.
