LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball will travel to Thibodaux Wednesday for the final game of four straight Southland Conference road contest against Nicholls. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at Stopher Gym.
McNeese (2-13, 0-4 SLC) is still searching for its first conference win of the season against a Nicholls team that is 10-5 overall and 3-1 in the SLC. The only conference loss for the Colonels was 70-62 at Stephen F. Austin last Wednesday.
On the other hand, the Cowgirls continue to show improvements but haven't yet put together a complete game. The Cowgirls are coming off an 88-76 road loss at UNO last Saturday that saw the Cowgirls holding a slim lead at the half but came out sluggish in the third quarter and let UNO take the lead in the opening minutes of the third quarter.

Regan Bolton is coming off another good shooting night that saw the Hammond native lead the Cowgirls with 22 points on 6 of 7 from three-point range. Bolton enters Wednesday's game averaging 10.3 ppg. with a 32.2 three-point field goal percent and 38 treys this season.

Callie Maddox and sophomore
Bre'Ashlee Jones are also averaging in double figures with 13.1 ppg. and 10.4 ppg., respectively.
In conference games, Jones is averaging 12.3 ppg. and Maddox is averaging 12.0 ppg.
Freshman
Divine Tanks continues to lead the Cowgirls with 7.6 rpg. while junior
Damilola Balogun is pulling down 7.3 per game. Balogun also leads McNeese with a 34.5 field goal shooting percent.
Nicholls is led by the reigning Southland Conference Player of the Year in Cassidy Barrios. Barrios leads the Colonels with 20.0 ppg. and 11.1 rpg. The senior is coming off a game against Houston Baptist on Saturday where she became the school's all-time blocks leader along with her 11
th career double-double (14 pts., 15 reb.).
