LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball returns home Saturday to host Houston Baptist in an 11:30 a.m. Southland Conference match.
McNeese (8-9, 1-4 SLC) fell short in a five-set match at Central Arkansas on Tuesday by the scores of 18-25, 25-13, 23-25, 25-23, 14-16 in a match where the Cowgirls had their chances to come away with the win.
The Cowgirls continue to lead the league in service aces with 121 on the season for an average of 1.89 per set.
Individually, six Cowgirls have 10 or more service aces with
Allison Lippert leading the squad with 22.
Caitlin Sharrock leads the SLC with 10 service aces and for an average of 0.67 per set in conference games.
