LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball returns home Thursday to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in its cancer awareness match. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. at the H&HP Complex. The match is the first of four straight in the next two weeks.
Fans will have a chance to win a McNeese swag bag with all the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Donations are also accepted and may be made
here.
McNeese (9-13, 2-8 SLC) is coming off a huge 3-2 road win at second place Sam Houston State last Thursday.
Texas A&M-CC (14-9, 7-3) enters the match in fourth place in the league standings and have their last four matches including a 3-0 home win over New Orleans last Saturday.
The Cowgirls continue to lead the league in service aces (149) and rank fourth in blocks with 164.5.
McNeese has three players ranked in the top 10 in the SLC in service aces with
Allison Lippert ranked fourth with 27,
Caitlin Sharrock ranks 7
th with 25 and
Keegan Nelms ranks 10
th with 25 also.
