LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball will return to Southland Conference play Tuesday, when the Cowgirls travel to Conway, Arkansas to take on Central Arkansas in a 6 p.m. match.

McNeese (8-8, 1-3 SLC) will be out to pick up its first road conference win of the season after its road losses at Southeastern Louisiana and Nicholls to begin SLC play two weeks ago.
McNeese is coming off a 1-1 record last week that saw the Cowgirls pick up its first conference win of the season, a 3-0 win over Abilene Christian before falling 3-0 to league leading Stephen F. Austin last Saturday.
As a team, McNeese leads the league in service ace with 114 on the season and ranks fifth in digs with 884 for an average of 14.98 per set.
Allison Lippert leads the team with 20 service aces while
Caitlin Sharrock and
Regan Stiawalt both have 17.
Angela McGownd continues to pace the Cowgirls with 292 digs for an average of 5.12 per set.
Alexis Lambert has a team best 130 kills on the season followed closely by
Keegan Nelms' 127.
UCA (7-10, 1-3 SLC) is coming off a week where the Sugar Bears picked up a 3-2 win at Incarnate Word last Thursday before falling 3-1 at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday.
