LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's basketball returns to action Wednesday to host LSU-Shreveport in the first game of a doubleheader with the Cowboys following 13 days since its last game. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. The game will mark the final non-conference game of the season before the Cowgirls begin Southland Conference action at Stephen F. Austin this Saturday.

McNeese (2-6) is coming off a 79-54 road loss at Louisiana Tech on Dec. 5. LSUS (8-2) will host Southwestern Assembly of God University this afternoon. McNeese will be the fourth SLC school LSUS has played this season including Houston Baptist, Northwestern State, and most recently Stephen F. Austin.
