WBB: Cowgirls Pick Up 81-77 Win Over LSUS

LAKE CHARLES—Playing without its leading scorer in sophomore Callie Maddox, who will miss the next 8-9 weeks due to a knee injury, McNeese women's basketball used a 22-10 run in the final four minutes to come away with an 81-77 win over LSU-Shreveport Wednesday night.

"Proud of the kids, we found a way to win tonight," said head coach Kacie Cryer. "Credit LSUS, they put some pressure on us and every time we tried to make a run- they went on a run by making some big shots. Regan Bolton hit two big three's down the stretch along with a jumper by Damilola Balogun topped off by free throws by Rayah Haynes."
