LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese tennis team will continue its three game road stretch as it faces the University of Texas at San Antonio on Friday and Texas State on Saturday.
The Cowgirls (3-4) are coming of a sweep of Alcorn St. (1-10) last Sunday. In the match McNeese's
Charoline Erlandsson would blank Alcorn's Birkenstock in consecutive sets 6-0 to secure the win for her team.
The UTSA Roadrunners (4-4) won their last two matches against Prairie View A&M (0-9) and Incarnate Word (0-4) in a perfect double header sweep.
The Texas State Bobcats are coming off a loss to Northwestern State. The Bobcats started out with an early 2-0 lead, but then fell to the Lady Demons in the last four sets of the day.
The Cowgirls look to improve their winning streak and finish out their road stretch before returning home to take on Tyler Junior College on Feb. 24.
