LAKE CHARLES - McNeese baseball's Southland Conference game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has been postponed and the two will now finish off the series on Sunday with a doubleheader beginning at 2.
The Cowboys (28-22, 13-12 SLC) defeated the Islanders by a 5-2 score in Friday's opener, the fifth straight conference win for the Cowboys as they're now tied for sixth place in the league standings in the loss column, and just three games out of second place.
Also on Sunday, McNeese will recognize its senior class in the final home date of the season.
The Cowboys will close out the regular season next Thursday-Saturday at HBU.
