QUOTING HEAD COACH DREW FITZGERALD
• On facing Southern:
"We have to do a better job of maintaining possession while being dangerous and still be able to extend the time we can sustain high pressure."
TULSA GAME NOTES
•The Pokes have lost to the Golden Hurricane in both previous matches of 2008 & 2015.
•In both games the final score was 3-0.
•This will be the first time Tulsa plays McNeese in Lake Charles at Cowgirl Field.
QUOTING HEAD COACH DREW FITZGERALD
• On playing Tulsa:
"We expect them to be strong, physical players. They kept up with Oklahoma State last week, so we know they have talent. However, it's still non-conference play so we are much more focused on ourselves than our opponent. Therefore, the result will work itself out if we just continue to grow as a team."
